Introducing Feedlogic

This was the most unique challenge I have worked on at Setwise so far. We had to update a 1.5 million line codebase to implement new features!

Feedlogic was a codebase that a company bought that is used to connect data from multiple agriculture sensors into one database and web portal. The application runs on a raspberry pi and is predominantly written in C. I started working on this project after the initial attempt done by Josh Strom. The most difficult challenge in this project was we had to send that Archived project to a remote Raspberry Pi and had no access to any other aspect of the system. Because we had to find a bug in such a large codebase it felt like Indiana Jones hunting for the Ark! Luckily after a month of back and forth with the clients and Josh’s initial work, we were able to update some algorithms to accommodate the new Infrastructure the client was adding!
